Dong Fang Offshore (DFO) was established since 2019, it is a 100% owned subsidiary company by Hunghua Construction known as the largest marine construction company. DFO has always been focusing in offshore wind industry since established, the new delivered CTVs Falcon 5 and Falcon 6 was carried by UHL Partner’s heavy lift vessel to Kaoshiung port.

“We have made our decision to step into offshore wind industry since 2019, the development in Taiwan will create a lot of demand for the vessels, which is why we have placed additional orders to Damen to deliver additional CTV to be able to participate in 2021 windfarm development.” Said by Polin Chen, Operations Director of Dong Fang Offshore.

Since 2019, the first 2 CTV order was placed, until today total 5 CTVs has ordered and delivered, it has made DFO the largest CTV owner in Taiwan. Following the increasing of fleet, DFO has also signed a MOU with HST (High Speed Transfer) from UK for training the Taiwanese crew to be competent on delivering the performance.
