Dong Fang Offshore to Establish Branch in Norway in 2025

Taiwan – Dong Fang Offshore (DFO) announces today that it has signed a contract with the Norwegian ocean services provider DeepOcean for the charter of the Orient Adventurer, with the firm period commencing in early 2026 and ending at the end of 2027, and up to four years of extension. "We are excited to welcome Orient Adventurer back to our fleet of advanced subsea assets. This high-quality, versatile vessel aligns perfectly with our service offerings, including both renewable energy and conventional sectors. With a proven track record of global operations, Orient Adventurer will be a valuable addition to our operational capabilities across geographies," says Ottar K. Dong Fang Offshore announces the order of one Offshore Subsea Construction Vessel with Vard Group AS.Dong Fang Offshore has appointed VARD to design and construct an Offshore Subsea Construction Vessel of VARD 3 39 design, along with option(s). This is the third vessel VARD is building for DFO, with the first two being Commissioning Service Operations Vessels, contracted in May 2024.
